Does anyone on here have this bass

Custom shop bass

I don't know if there is only one. It was originally in GAK , then I've just it here (but sold)

I was wondering what it's like. Herbie and this bass was one of my biggest influences when I started playing

Was there not a build thread on here for this? Was a few years back... might be my memory failing, but I'm sure there was.

Likewise, Herbie was/is a big influence on me. I still have a deep-seated love of LPB basses.

I purchased this bass from ClassicandCoolguitars last year and im very pleased with it!

Its a close match to my other 60’s custom shop in the same colour.

I hadn't read the original post from @police squad properly and didn't realise this was a Fender Custom Shop piece. There was a self build someone did back in 2011, which was a nice effort as well.

Yes that's the one. Mark at classic and cool said it was lovely and in Denmark.

It’s a great bass and sounds just like it’s twin brother.
