NBD: Uberhorn content

So that shuker I bought recently isn't right for me, the neck and the string spacing is too big for my hands, and the number of strings is just confusing to me, but one thing I realised is how the quality of the build was.

So with quite a bit of talking to Jon, selling my stick and a few other things, and a longing that has been with me since the LBGS in 17, I present something that pretty well everyone who went to the LBGS in 2017 will probably remember.

Shuker Uberhorn, 33" neck, 17mm spacing, delano pickups and john east pre. Weighs about nothing!

Yeh, been trying to get a strap for it that sort of goes. Couch have failed me, there is a nice (expensive) vegan one on etsy, but it is only 2" wide which seems a bit narrow for a bass.

Granted that does seem narrow but isn't the bass super lightweight?

It is. I guess I should just play it with one of the guitar straps I have and see if it is ok like that. It is actually lighter than a few guitars I have.

Jon Shuker is the Mr Kipling of Luthiers. He does make exceedingly good basses.

My indie Tribal? Yes, its a bit overboard. Its a bit tatty too but it was cheap. Its my main goto guitar, just because it is so solid.

I've tried and failed many times over the years, never manage to get them to quite match. Black is my go-to!
