Bart Funk Bass
TC Electronic POLYTUNE Clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMJ_LpFvB34 It sometimes freaks out and shows B instead of E Not a problem for me so I highly recommend it!
ClassicVibes
I would recommend the Unitune. Just as accurate and cheaper. So good, TC discontinued it!
Skybone
Yes, I have a PolyTune, and it regularly either goes into 6 String Poly mode. It annoyed me so much, I bought a UniTune.
Bobthedog
Before moving onto the Peterson Strobestomp and Stroboclip HD, I too went from Poly to Unitune. Having said that the Stroboclip also sometime calls a B and E. No problems with the Polytune or Strobostomp, however. I think the clips really need to have their placement right to avoid that B/E issue.
Lozz196
I’ve had no problems with mine, on some very noisy stages.
RedVee
I own one and on certain Basses it shows a B instead of an E when it is positioned at the end of the headstock. If you move it to where the decal is on say a P Bass it shows E, so that is where I place it now on all of my Basses. Woodinblack
Mine is pretty good, hadn't had any trouble with recognising certain notes, except doing intonation on the B string at the 19th fret, then it starts getting a bit weird, but for normal tuning no issue. Jean-Luc Pickguard
I like my trusty old white polytune clip so much that I bought the black version as well

Where's the fun in that, when you can just buy another one that does the same kind of thing, but without some of the features? Oh... hang on...

And then there is the dedicated Bass mode that nobody seems to know. Yes, I always read the manual.

Maybe that is why mine doesn't have a problem with the B?
