micahbell
I am getting a Warmoth P-Bass, and I was pretty decided on the Badass II bridge based on a couple reviews, but in all honestly I have check out the competition too much/at all. So, I would like to get a couple opinions on what the best bridge is.
bass_ferret
Badass is the de-facto replacement bridge cos it fits the fender holes. There are alternatives from Scaller (fitted to one of my GB's) and Hipshot (fitted to my other GB), plus Gotoh and ABM and more I am sure. You never see a custom bass builder fitting a Badass? The bridge being a direct replacement isn't an issue, as I am getting the body built to what ever specs I want, I can get them to drill for any type of bridge. Mr. Foxen
I've seen a sweet custom with one, built to be a P style: www.gwbasses.com bigging him up because he always has time to give me guidance on mods and stuff I'm working on.
ped
I like Schallers - nice roller saddles which you can move sideways by spinning them, and infinately adjustable.
mhuk
Bunch of bridge "reviews" here: http://www.bgra.net/2004/index.php?content...;page=parts-acc and I think there're a few more on there somewhere. micahbell
Thanks for the post so far. Has anybody tried using a Gotoh bridge? Also, do shallers use stock holes?

If you look at the online catalogs for allparts etc they normally say if its a direct replacement. I know Badass are which is why they are the favourite Fender upgrade bridge and Fender use them as well cos it fits the holes they are tooled up for.
