I have a 8ohm 15” - but how do I check If the internal speaker is 4 or 8 ohm?

Probably the only sure way is to take the grill of the front of the combo, remove the speaker and see if the impedance is marked on the rear of it.

Can anyone help me out? Unfortunately I don’t have pics of the back of this combo.

Can a 15” be added to this combo for extra beef?

thank you

There should be two speaker outs on the back, one of which currently being filled by the jack from the internal speaker. This combo will be fine to add another 8ohm cab to as the photo shows that it still has it's original kevlar impregnated TE 15" speaker fitted (which is 8ohm). 👍

Here is another Trace Elliot combo I use. Can you tell med if I can add a 15" cab (8ohm) without breaking anything?

If it has two jack sockets and 'minimum load 4 ohms' you can fit two 8 ohm cabs (the built in one is normally 8 ohms).

Same thought here, I am just in doubt about the internal speaker - I have no idea if it is 4 og 8 ohm

All of these Trace 4x10 combos and cabs were 8ohm and designed to be hooked up to another 8ohm cab if so desired (eg 1x15, 1x18, or another 4x10). It will be fine.
