I have one of these. Great basses. This model is basically the same as the Thunder 3 alert from the logo and truss rod cover. Mine is  missing the cover and not in as good condition as that one though. It's a bit too heavy for me nowadays and so may appear on here at sometime.soon.

I think the Thunder II & III originally just denoted whether it was fitted with P/P or P/J pickups, but both basses had various different specs & pickup arrangements during the life of the range.

Always had a bit of GAS for one of these!

I've got a Thunder; my 1st impressions were two "Bloody Hell"s:

1. Bloody Hell - it weighs a ton!

2. Bloody Hell - it sounds good!

1 hour 45 to go, and at £215 this is still very, very cheap for what it is. If I was within 50 miles of Salisbury, I'd be watching closely & hoping it's slipped under the radar.
