If there was so much clutter on the workbench that you had to make the storage thingy to house the tools that were cluttering up the workbench, how did you make the storage thingy if you had no workbench because of the clutter? Eh? No so all "Twërp" now, are we? 3 Quote
Si600 Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 I do have more space than just a bench you know. Obvs I put the tools somewhere else until they had a home to go to. Still the Once and Future Twerp. Quote

Crazy German! I'm pretty sure there are people on here who play their bass in a new band in order to justify buying the new bass that the new band *of course* demands. And then get another one to put roundwounds on. then the band folds after two practices This poor fella just wanted to organise and look after his tools 1 1 1 Quote

Si600 Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) Little wooden box, mahogany and ash. Yes, it does look like a table tomb, but that really is a coincidence. Edited December 24, 2021 by Si600 5 Quote
SpondonBassed Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Nice work Si. What size is it. It's hard to tell without something for reference. Quote
Si600 Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) It's 100 x 200. The lid thickness makes it about 110 mm tall. Edited November 29, 2021 by Si600 Not being the guy who points out his own errors 😉 1 Quote

Si600 Posted December 24, 2021 Author Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) Box no.2, mahogany and oak, BLO with wax. I'm not convinced with how I left the end where the lid fits in, I should have cut the top frame rail in half so the end panel is finished rather than flapping in the breeze, but that would have bu$$ered up the proportions. Yes it looks like another table tomb. Edited December 24, 2021 by Si600 7 1 Quote
Andyjr1515 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I like the fit of that top Happy Christmas, by the way ! 1 Quote
Si600 Posted December 25, 2021 Author Posted December 25, 2021 So do I. I wanted it to be as invisible as possible. Looks great shut, needs a bit of thinking for the look once the lid is off. Happy Christmas to you too. 1 Quote
Reggaebass Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Tidy job Si , it looks great, nice chamfering on the panels 👍 1 Quote
Si600 Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 My first bit of carving, and also first mortise and tenon, but you can't see that 2 Quote
Si600 Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Sort of a traditional/common thing here. Quite a lot of people have them outside their doors. Either Moin or the family name. 1 Quote
