colin100
Hi everyone I am selling my Jackson 5 string bass as soon as I get my hands on a musicman bongo on Sunday woohoo! I really have no idea how much the Jackson is worth so am open to suggestions and offers. I got a good deal with it about 7 years ago and the RRP was £699 or £599 (I cant remember which). It is made in Japan and the build quality is pretty good. Its really growly sounding and plays well. Sorry to see this go as Ive enjoyed playing it. Obviously it has picked up a few minor dings which are really not noticable unless you are looking. If you can help can you suggest how much this is worth now so as I can sell it at the correct price. velvetkevorkian
FWIW there was one on TalkBass for about $350 recently- I'd say you're probably looking at £200-£250 max although the market may be pretty limited as Jackson are not really known for their basses. I could be talking crap though, I can't recall seeing another in the country so YMMV.
colin100
Thanks for that. I was thinking around £200 ish maybe if I am lucky as well. Its an ok bass but nothing special and has done me for a good few years until I saw a photo of a musicman bongo and instantly wanted one Colin
