JottoSW1
Obscure/Unsuccessful. Took a punt on this v cheap. Sounds very nice, valve pre seems pretty good eq a bit complex for me. Compressor useful. Not sure it's 800w loud, not that this is (or ought to be) a problem. Anyone else seen/tried one, if so did YOU like it.
Dan Dare
They were developed by someone who had previously designed for Marshall and Vox, so they should work. Never heard one in the flesh. The Chinese company that owns Wharfedale backed it financially. See https://www.albionamp.com/page3. They also released a similar range, designed by the same person, under the Wharfedale brand name (the speaker cabs were identical, bar the logo on the front). They didn't catch on. Andertons bought a warehouse full of them a few years back and sold them off cheaply:
JottoSW1
Yes. I checked out the history a bit, the guys name was Steve Goodrick. Been playing with it today, sounds very good indeed. Big old lump of a thing, lighter than my Trace though.😅 Sounds absolutely lovely through my Epifani and am Itching to get my KSD back from Luthiers. However, need to get a tonepocket or similar, keep on neglecting to use my practice Amp & I live in a Flat !!! Headphones time B4 the neighbours start a petition.
