2011 Marcus Miller Jap Jazz - Sold!
£750

Here’s my 2011 Marcus Miller Jazz.

It’s in great condition, but had a few marks as you can see (all pictured). There was a sticker on the headstock that’s has caused a minor discolouration which is hard to see in normal daylight. There are some dents commensurate with use and age, but nothing particularly nasty or upsetting. Other then that, it is in excellent used nick. Frets are fine and the action is low.

The neck is beautiful and the whole bass feels exquisite.

Now wearing a lovely set of Rotosounds for that Miller thwack and twang!

I don’t have a case and I’d prefer not to ship.

Looking for £680 - price is firm.

I have just discovered I need to pay for a new roof for my daughters bedroom so need a sale.

I feel my description is a little hard on this beautiful bass. It’s lovey, great and amazing and could be yours! Let me know if you have a Stingray for trade. My Precision itch has now been scratched!

I've found a new screw for this (well, a vintage one that dropped out the bottom of my parts box!), so that's fixed.

I have also now got a battered old Fender moulded hard case that I can send it in, so if you want me to send it, then that's a possibility.

I've just weighed it on my kitchen scales (expect a margin of error caused by garlic, onions and other food stuffs) but it comes out at 4.1kg.

Right, so I’ve fitted the strings, sorted a replacement screw and now have an old battered Fender moulded hard case. Would quite like to get rid of this now.

OK, so this was sold on eBay but I was the likely victim of a scam, so this is now a COLLECTION ONLY bargain.

(The hard caseI hoped would fit doesn't. The ebay buyer was a scammer who attempted to defraud me of the bass and I was alerted to the dangers, so no harm done!)

I’ve been really enjoying this. But I prefer slightly simpler instruments with passive controls.

Ive had a few offers and, while I welcome them, I feel £700 is fair so I’ll hold out for that for a while longer.

Some kicked tyres, PM ping pong and a gaggle over £30 mean this bass is still here.

In the spirit of Christmas why not offer me £680 and cuddle up with this majestic Marcus Miller? It’s cheaper than any you’ll find out there and it’s got a new set of Rotosounds on it too.

What else can I offer? Oh, go on then I’ll Chuck in a Fender branded strap.

But it doesn’t end there. I also have a packet of bear cakes that my mother in law bought for the kids but nobody want. Yes, I’ll include those too.

Same thing happened. I’ll take £680 collected. It’s become a matter of principle now.

Will stick it on eBay for a higher price if no takers here. Merry Christmas all!
