Happy Jack Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 The coffee mug is there for scale. The brown paper is to fill the empty space. And what have I actually bought? Yes ... it's a clip-on tuner. 1 4 Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Jack's famous last words a few hours before delivery of that item happened: "It's a clip-on tuner, they can put it through the letterbox, can they?" Er, no they couldn't... 1 2 Quote
Bobthedog Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Packaging aside, I have both that one and the StroboStomp. Probably the best clip on and pedal tuners I have owned. Quote

Last time I saw you posting with packaging content, you had @Silvia Bluejay in the box "for scale". Mind you, It was a decent size for the DB that came with. TheGreek Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Amazon used a bigger box than that for Shalla's ball... seems there's a pattern. 1 Quote

Is @Silvia Bluejay the advertised anti-intruder device? Does @Happy Jack keep her in that box ready to leap out at unsuspecting ne'er-do-wells? 2 Quote
KiOgon Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 @Happy Jack you'll have to get a cat, those boxes are our cat's favourite 😎 Quote

Stub Mandrel Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Nothing! I once bought an IC, it was about 1/2" square. It was packed between two foot-square plastic frames. In a box, with vacuum packing. In a larger box, with paper packing. In a box about 2 1/2 feet square. I think someone had a sense of humour... From the same company (CPC) I still have a box I use for odd musical instrument parts like tuners etc. It has the word 'OVERPACK' on the side in large letters, which seems more than a little shameless. Oh dear the SoCo is starting to affect my typing... Quote
