EMG Jazz Bass Pickup Set

SJ5 and LJ5 (neck and bridge)

Condition is used, a little bit of string wear but in good working order.

They came in a bass I bought and have fitted new pickups in.

Question...can these be used in a standard, passive (5 string) jazz bass V/V/T setup? I have only ever thought of EMG as active pickups.

Oh, and I'm assuming that the "5" in the model denotes them as 5 string pups???

Hi Julian,

I know they can be used as passive pickups as that is how I was using them, but they are 4 strong unfortunately. Not sure what the 5 relates to!

Alnico 5 perhaps?
