Woodinblack Posted July 27, 2020 Share Posted July 27, 2020 My B2V needs new strings, and I know you can get those little clamps for it but thought I would treat it to some double ball ends. Seems the choices are limited. there are there Steinberger Guitars SST-111 sets that are pretty cheap and available but I read somewhere someone saying they only fitted the original steinbergers, not the hofner, but can't find anything to back that up (and guessing the original steinbergers probably wouldn't have been 5 strings) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well, I would certainly love one of those. The steinberger strings seem pretty cheap (30 quid for a 5 string set), then there are the BassCentre ones, again sort of cheap, but I want to buy something from either andertons or Gak that is £79 and at £100 you get free shipping. If I have to buy string anyway, I can get them at the same time and get £5 off, but not much good if they don't fit.
