silverfoxnik Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I bought one of these NE1 pedals recently on here as I'd always fancied trying one out and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds and how useful it is.. Because it is a sweepable 'Q' type frequency, it's like having an Alembic or Wal Custom tone control at your fingertips. For some songs in our set, I can change the sound so easily from something very Jazz Bass like to something very Rickenbacker 4001 like really quickly. Very useful when doing 'A Town Called Malice'..
