You did see natural finish Fenders around 1972 but as far as I'm aware they all had ash bodies (this one is clearly alder) and white pickguards. If an advertisement begins with 'If you know, you know..' or some such variant thereof, it's a clear signal that the price of said item has been vastly elevated beyond its real worth. Quote
