I guess it was kicking round in the factory for a while! Quote

Reggaebass Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 I clicked on this 60s precision on reverb, and omg, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a thumb rest like this 😁 2 1 Quote
Owen Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 That is very special. But not in a good way. 1 Quote

Reggaebass Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 It’s a shame that it’s outside of the pickguard or another guard would have covered it Quote

LukeFRC Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Oh yeah its sticking out rather than a hole dug in Quote

Owen Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 If the trough was filled it could be reliced, but that still leaves needing to find a new scratchplate. 1 Quote

ezbass Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Definitely a trough, you can see the internal corner and the cut edge of the p/g. Given that only about half would be visible under a complete p/g and that it’s already somewhat battered elsewhere, a colour matched, fill block wouldn’t be a total necessity. 1 Quote
Cuzzie Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Crikey - just seen the trough still do-able tho 1 Quote
