acidbass
Yet another interesting marketing vehicle. I hope it isn't bought and used to convey some political message.
stewblack
It won't be. They reserve the right to not use anything they don't like the look of.

Reggaebass
I saw this and it’s quite tempting, do you think you would get your money back in sales, it’s up to 38k at the moment

Vulfpeck haven't yet peaked commercially - this next album could be the one with a hit single.
taunton-hobbit
Emperors new clothes time? A lot of money to buy trackspace on an album that may or may not sell/produce any return......... I'll stick to premium bonds. 😎

There’s a video. Jack Stratton invested in something that failed. It’s a money raise to try to offset his loss.

Yeah that’s true, the exposure could be great if you was an up and coming band , have other bands done this 🙂

MacDaddy
Nothing new. Back in the 80's Sigue Sigue Sputnik sold the space between the songs on their album.
uk_lefty
It's just a different way to raise money. Quite inventive. I like the idea, but of course the only people with a realistic chance of winning have to have more than 50 thousand dollars spare, good for the band, not great for aspiring music students etc. But however it is done I can't see it being fair in that sense.
