TRBboy
I am starting to wonder if I should just go for 19mm spacing, I'd have more choice of bridges and stuff too, and could buy Walshy's Aguilars then! 😂
fretmeister
Some basses have a different string splay. I had a go on a custom 5 string once where the bridge had 20mm spacing but the nut was 44.5mm like a stingray. So the strings got closer to each other a lot sooner than that bridge spacing suggests.

TheGreek
I used some custom wound pick ups, built by Martin Herrick, in my Psilos bass - he's based in Wales. https://www.herrickpickups.com/
TRBboy
How is it that there seem to be more 18mm 5 string basses, yet there's more pickups and bridges for 19mm spacing....? 🤔 Edited August 13, 2020 by TRBboy
