SICbass
Oh my giddy aunt! That looks yummy - possibly even yummier than a packet of chocolate oaties (which is not something I would say frivolously).
JottoSW1
Lush. I want a left handed one. Sadly my GAS is lessened by my penury. Have enough Basses but no semi-acoustic as yet. Start saving I guess.
ahpook
That is really rather lovely. I'll not say it's worth the wait, but.....wow. I mean, WOW

Rich
What we really need to know is... ...assuming the plain choc bickies are a 10, what score do the milk choc ones get?

They're a strong seven, but I'd add an extra point to make it eight as the pack only cost 41p.

Guest
Get an amp that goes up to 11. Sorted!
Skybone
It only goes to 9 because it's a pre-decimal Vintage Reissue?
Jean-Luc Pickguard
Well this is fun. There was a fair amount of fret buzz on the D & G strings which I wasn't initially too worried about as it seemed like a simple setup should be able to cure it. So over the weekend I tweaked the truss rod to add some relief, and I raised the string height at the bridge but the buzz didn't go away and the only way to minimise it was by setting the bridge so high that it was no fun to play I've now been sent a return label so the bass is going back and a second one has been ordered at the shop which will be sent on to me; hopefully after they've checked it. I have to take it to a post office so I hope I can find one with a parking space outside as the box the bass came in is approximately the size of a box containing a semi-acoustic bass in a hard case.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
The new one has been dispatched with an estimated delivery date of this Friday - here we go again! The old one has arrived back in Germany so hopefully they'll get it back tomorrow or Friday.

Jean-Luc Pickguard
Woohoo! The replacement bass is here and its all looking good. I've set it up with the flatwounds I previously had on the other one & there's no string buzz.
