I know they’re great basses and all but they look very 90s. Especially the Dolphin and infinity ones . Daft looking Someone on here once described Warwicks as being: "Hacked out of diseased trees by blind Germans". A sentiment I would have to agree with, apart from the StarBass II. Anything less bulky is seen as being "fragile". Wood is really strong stuff you know. People make houses out less robust timbers than those used on guitars and basses. I had a corvette once and it basically had 2 dildos for horns. My band mates slagged me something wicked. I could live with the thumb or streamer bass. The Adam Clayton one is actually cool Edited August 13, 2020 by Quilly

I did consider having mine modified to something more in keeping with the rest of the bass.

I wouldn’t bother, it would only reduce the value of the bass
Quilly
I know this is supposed to be about basses but I really hate those Ibenez guitars with the monkey grip...can we extend this thread to other musical items that puts us off ?? 😂😂😂
Osiris
Sunburst (pronounced Turdburst) of any description. Tort scratch plates of any description. Gold hardware. All hideous in their own way and become exponentially more vile when combined. F holes. Why?

alyctes
Sunburst. Just seems like cheating, somehow. I am not a fan of torty scratchplates, but on blue basses they have a certain something. Edited August 13, 2020 by alyctes

But I guess it is pretty lazy and safe
Reggaebass
For me it depends on what tort it is , an original PG on a vintage Olympic white jazz is superb, but some of the newer torts are too red or black, and just look a swirling mess

Sire really should take the hint at this point. It ruins an otherwise perfectly good bass

It is, of course, all personal taste but I find all of those things I listed earlier utterly minging 😉 Oh, and I forgot to mention gold finishes too, anyone playing one clearly drives a pink Range Rover and is married to a football player.
