Anyone has a Roadstar/Roadster with rosewood board? I see maple every now and then, but where are those darker fretboards?

Here you go

I have the chance to get a Roadster II similar to the one @briansbrew posted above, but white, and wonder if anyone has played one of these, as well as the earlier RS824? I really liked the neck on the RS824 I had that I foolishly let go years ago, and wonder if they're similar in feel?

The bass is a bit of a drive away, and there's a cyclone about to make landfall near here so I'm not going to go for a few days and it's killing me in the interim, so I'm hoping you all will say no and I can let it out of my mind. There is absolutely no need for a 4 in my collection, but I really liked the 824, and they're just silly money now.

I've just noticed Ibanez have quietly snuck in a 5 string SR with 18mm string spacing (instead of the usual 16.5 which is a bit tight for me). https://www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/sr1605dw_1p_02.html

I'm not convinced on the look, but 5 string SR with 18mm spacing is a winner with me.

They have done 18mm before - I have the 2405W & it’s a fantastic 5er. Better looking than the newer one too!

Well, that is confusing as I have a 1605 that is the original one and it is 16.5mm. I guess the w means wide or something

Picked this up today at the end of my GAS burst. First Ibanez I've had for about twenty years. A very nice condition 2017 SR1400 Premium. Spent the latter part of the evening setting it up, as someone had set the neck flat and raised all the bridge monorails to compensate! All fixed now with a low action :)
