Also fitted a lovely set of Nickel machine heads. Just strung with a new set of Flats, this has ‘the thump’ for sure! I'd seen a video on Youtube where a bloke took the scratch plate off one of these and found that the grain stopped part way up the body. It was a photoflame grain that only seemed to cover the area visible when the scratch plate was fitted. That's clearly, based on these pics, not the case with all of them.
