El Capo Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 (edited) Another lockdown project, now has the headstock reshaped, Fender bridge and CTS pots! Also fitted a lovely set of Nickel machine heads. I'd seen a video on Youtube where a bloke took the scratch plate off one of these and found that the grain stopped part way up the body. It was a photoflame grain that only seemed to cover the area visible when the scratch plate was fitted. That's clearly, based on these pics, not the case with all of them. Maybe he just got a duff 'un? Renewed my interest in these somewhat.
