ped Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Iām wondering if thereās any possible combinations left for Fender to exploit š 1 2 Quote
acidbass Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I love the look of that white one but would be instantly removing the stack knobs, so probably not quite for me! Quote
ezbass Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 (edited) I donāt mind a roadworn bass, but please leave the belt sander alone. I owned a very beatenĀ up ā63 P Bass and it didnāt have that wear mark on the upper bout. Itās the same with the JMJ Mustang I played on Tuesday, same belt sander in a place that neither the sales assistant or I had ever experienced with genuine playing wear. YMMV of course. However, back on topic, theyāre ok, pretty much Flea basses in other colours. Edited August 21, 2020 by ezbass Quote
Mudpup Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Fingerboards look too light to me. If you're going to try and do vintage looking at least do the whole job......ebony would have worked better Quote
CameronJ Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Agreed on the fingerboards being too light. Pau Ferro isnāt a bad wood by any stretch but aesthetically just doesnāt do it for me on Fender-shaped basses. But yeah, other that that, looks to be the Flea passive Jazz in different colours. Iām sure theyāll sell as stacked knobs look cool. Quote
