Valve Amp - who’s still using them?

Pure tone amps from Greece look amazing, he does a 120w bass head .

it might be my imagination but I think bass tube amps are getting more and more popular, maybe it’s because people are using PA DIs more and don’t need as much power on stage, who knows ? , I can see Harley Benton bringing one out ...

I reached out to the guy (for research purposes only of course 😉) and it was sold - Thank God ! 😅

Most of my gear is either full valve or hybrid but I would love another SVT classic or V4 or 120w tube amp or anything tube lol 😂

I have 2 valve amps and one hybrid, everything I need really but that Stoneham YI200 amp really stoked my interest 😭

I've got a Marshall 2x100 chassis which had a fan that thought it were a jumbo jet -

a local tech threw it out and replaced it with three slow ones, prob solved -

none of my Matamps has a fan, nor did my earlier Selmer Stereomaster,

so I think it depends on cab size and ventilation?

I watched a review on the Handbox WB100 and It says it’s got an inbuilt fan , I don’t like fan noise, do most valve amps have them or just some 🙂

Depends on the power rating and how many valves are in the amp. The CTM100 doesn’t have one as it’s valves are spread out , the ctm300 does however
