Marcray Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) Hi, Can anyone tell me what brand of flatwounds come with a light orange colored twine? Thanks. Edited August 28, 2020 by Marcray Quote
Reggaebass Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I’ve had flats since the 80s , and I seem to remember labella using orange silks at one point, but I think they changed to red later, that looks like a cool bass , can I see some more pics 🙂 Quote

ped Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I was going to say Optima Gold but they have silk at both ends. The other option was DR but they are a much lighter colour. https://m.bonedo.de/artikel/einzelansicht/vergleichstest-flatwound-saiten-fuer-e-bass/2.html Quote

greenolive Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 @Marcray measure the gauge if you can , it will help the investigators. Also +1 cool looking bass 👍 Quote
