Bought this from Shambo in April. Great bass in all areas. The way things are going, it could be another 12 months before playing again and I’ll be approaching 73. I’ve been trying to give up gigging for some time now but it’s in my blood, however, this pandemic could be the signal.

I did change the flats for new rounds. Would probably go back to flats.

Very reluctant sale, beats USA make IMO.

Includes hard Gator case.

These are cool basses - mine (Identical to this) gives me a distinctly P bass-esque twang with a bit more growl and midrange, for a lot less weight. All good.

Yes, I can ship as it’s got a hard case of which I’d add a bit of bubble wrap inside and protect the case with heavy duty cardboard.

This really is a joy of an instrument, a real player. I would have happily kept it but I was adamant I was going to get my collection down to one bass.

Geoff's an absolute gent to do business with too.

It sure is. These Jap series Mustangs are a bit like the JV bass range, where it took some time for bassists to realise how good they were/are.

I just been off to weigh the two basses I have with me, the Yamaha is 4kg (admittedly didn't remove the heavy strap or tuner), and the Ibanez is 3.8kg, I consider these to both be relatively light...  I seem to think my Nanyo is less than 3.5kg though, so I'm struggling to justify the purchase of the Mustang in the "lightweight" category...

Having said that, I don't own a Fender... I like stuff MIJ... I like things that are not brand new...  I especially like a rosewood board and white bass...
