Hi all

I have a poorly EHX Bass Soul Food, not a fancy pedal but I like it.

It seems to have a problem which I think might stem from the internal True Bypass/Buffer Switch. It seems to switch OK, but once the pedal has been engaged and turned off then signal cuts out.

These are notoriously loud 'poppers' when in True Bypass so I'm not too bothered about having it switch between the two, just working in Buffered would do.

Does anyone do (obviously for a fee) pedal repairs like this? Or know anyone who would (I'm in North Essex near Colchester.)

Cheers

Jason

IIRC @Sibob used to make his own pedals...

Thanks, but I’m not really taking on anything other than personal projects at the mo 😊

I think you might be right there - I have a mate who works near them so that could be a handy option. Cheers 🙂

No problem, they’re pretty decent fellas, know their stuff and always aim for fast turnaround
