Ögon
Hi, Recently i bought a secondhand Trace Elliot 208. The cab seems to have collected a bit of dust on the speakers and i want to clean them with a soft cloth. Does anyone know how to remove the grill? The screws on the front seem to be fake screws. Do i need to pull the grill somewhere to remove it? I emailed Trace Elliot about this, but they did not reply. Thanks in advance for your help. stewblack
Got a photo? All the ones I've removed have been screwed in.

The have probably been overtightened and are just spinning in their holes. Try levering them up with a flathead screwdriver under the head while turning them. Ögon
Problem solved, i had to use some small force and wiggling to remove the grill. I used a screwdriver without the head in the grill holes on the sides and pulled and wiggled slowly. The grill has rubber on the sides and that holds the grill really tight.. The speaker material is quite interesting, i googled the speakers and the specs, the speaker material is glass fiber. (Faital Pro Neodymium / 8PR200 / https://faitalpro.com/en/products/LF_Loudspeakers/product_details/index.php?id=101030200) Anyway, i'm glad if i helped anyone in here. 🙂 Thanks for your support guys.
