Hi all,

Just tried to use the aux-in on my TC RH750 for the first time, and can't get it to work.

I want to play drums off youtube on my phone, so I plugged it in the back using a 3.5mm jack... but no sound...

Am I doing something wrong?

Ever think to RTFM?

5 – AUX IN Rehearse
Stereo Rehearsal Auxiliary Input.
Any signal present on the stereo AUX IN jacks is played back through the PHONES output on the rear of the RH750. This allows you to play along with a rehearsal track when checking out new stuff or to practice to a beat or just a metronome click.

I was always rather mystified why they went headphones only for the aux input.  Reading the above again, I realise that it does at least mean that you can listen to the source in stereo.

Wait what?? Headphone-only aux-in?

That makes no sense... Headphones are an output device. Why can't I plug in an mp3 player like literally every other amp?

You can. You plug the phone/ mp3 in the Aux In but the sound only comes out of the Phones output and not the Speaker output.

Oh, so when using an aux-in I have to play through headphones? That's a bummer
