Just Bought A Record

Back when I bought my first T-Rex records I would save pocket money then walk just over a mile to Parson's Newsagent and Record Shop in Midsomer Norton, hand over the loot and walk back avidly reading the  sleeve notes, song titles, copyright information and ogling the pictures. This afternoon I went on a crowd funding website typed in some information and watched a video of the band playing one of the songs from the album.

In several months time the vinyl will arrive, delivered by hand to my door.

Back when I had a film camera I paid my money then waited full of excited anticipation for the postman to deliver my pictures. Now I look at my pictures the moment I take them.

I'm living in the future. It's quite a confusing place.

I asked my friend if I could borrow his cable so I could charge my book, he said no as he was charging his cigarette
