Is it bad that I still like Prawn Cocktail Black Forest Gateau and Liebfraumilch?

I seem to remember that the options for starters in Berni Steak Inns (showing my age obvs) were either soup, prawn cocktail or a small glass of orange juice! Followed by an overdone steak with not enough chips, half a grilled tomato and peas like bullets, and then ice cream or cheese and biscuits (probably for a supplement!) Aah, the good old days of fine dining. 😋
