casapete Posted September 13, 2020 Share Posted September 13, 2020 I seem to remember that the options for starters in Berni Steak Inns (showing my age obvs) were either soup, prawn cocktail or a small glass of orange juice! Followed by an overdone steak with not enough chips, half a grilled tomato and peas like bullets, and then ice cream or cheese and biscuits (probably for a supplement!)
