What strings? Mustang Performer Bass USA

What brand of strings do you use and type. I’ve been using TI Flats short scale 46-105. Sound great but a mission to wrap the E string round the post!

Good choice to go with La Bellas - but even though it is indeed a short-scale bass, there is a special set for string-through Mustangs: https://www.labella.com/products/760f-mus-stainless-steel-flat-wound-30-scale/ - "includes a 1.75" flexible tail by the ball-end" (the part of the string which goes through the body).

Is it strung through-body? I thought not on this model.

Just seen this on ebay so it looks like they are string through. I fitted the Labella custom to both my Mustangs.
