Orbs Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Wow! what a stunning looking bass, GLWTS....
three Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Absolutely beautiful - gorgeous timbers and Jon's work is up there with the very best. Is this 34" - the bass looks reasonably compact/short in the picture of the rear?
Daz39 Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 The top looks like a very well-poured coffee. Nice.
andybassdoyle Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Lovely bass. Interesting that it's not a bolt on neck for a jazz - how does that affect it @Harry?

Hi, i wanted to try a set neck jazz, see what it feels like, they are great i know people say they are meant to have more sustain etc but it was more for the feel of the instrument i wanted to try it out for and it really has nice tonal qualities and sustain. i have another 2 of jon's basses, another jazz that has a set neck also. This is a very reluctant sale and don't want to part with the bass and is purely circumstantail due to the current climate .
madshadows Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 That's a looker, beautiful bass, GLWTS
Risk101 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Jon Shuker’s work is outstanding and the similar bass I have almost plays itself as well as being a thing of beauty. Shuckers are also super-reliable/noiseless for recording. This one looks outstanding and is at a great price from a great seller. if I wasn’t married I’d be on the phone to Harry now! GLWTS - someone is gonna get a bargain!
Harry Posted September 20, 2020 Author Posted September 20, 2020 (edited) Thank you all for the kind words and endorsement for Jon's basses, they are quality and If anyone want to try it it will be going to Bass direct tomorrow. If you want it before it goes up tomorrow you can have it at £1250 plus shipping Thanks Harry Edited September 20, 2020 by Harry
