Just wanted to share you all the brand new single from my band Pickpocket called How 'Bout It?
Rhythm section recorded live, I used my trusty F Bass into a Demeter 201 and an Avalon U5.

Watch it here:

Nobody...? :(

Sorry; far too soporific for my old bones. Are you sure the tape wasn't running at half speed..? Too slow for me to dance to (and I don't dance...). Good production, but not (at all...) my style. Thanks for sharing. :|

I like it..!! Excellent playing all round from a very tight band. Top marks for the very mature Brass arranging as well.

👍

Thanks! I thinking cutting the rhythm section love really helped to keep things tight, and not necessarily in a metronomic way but more of a pocket way. Glad you dig it!

Top work, really liked the middle 8 section where it all went finger style !

Nice F Bass too.

Yeah the F Bass is such a great workhorse, it records so well. That middle section is my favourite tool 🙂
