dclaassen
Hello, I am 63, American, but have lived in the UK for 20 years. I have played my entire life, but only a bit of it as a full-time pro. I teach music at a school, and don't currently gig, but might when I retire. Gear includes: 1995 Pedulla MPV-5 New-ish G&L L2000 Tribute (currently for sale) Hartke Kickback amp I have to admit that I am a bit of a boutique bass snob....I have owned old Fenders, and loved them as well..... Richard R
Welcome aboard! There are a few music teachers on here to hook up with too. There is a thread on the bad old days of music lessons here: But the rest of the site is much more uplifting 😁

dclaassen
I put the Tribby on the shelf and picked up a Yamaha 614...the neck is better for me and I like the pickup pan option. I intend to make the Mpv my go to bass, but can still fumble a bit with the extra string. Hoping to find old folks in Cambridgeshire to start playing with. Geek99
Welcome - you’ve been here long enough now not to have to even mention the American thing - we have American members who still live there - shhhh! You’ll wake them up early and they’ll be all grumpy
