A mix of Ulver, Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails along with some Reeves and Mortimer style humour. A real departure from anything they've done over a few years old, which is good as I don't really like their old stuff. They are currently giving the album away free along with a track by track video "commentary" and write up. https://young-knives.com/i-am-barbarian/ Now that I've had enough time to listen to the album properly it's my top 2 of the year (shared with Pure Reason Revolution's Eupnea). hooky_lowdown Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 Definitely a departure from their early stuff, which I like, often crops up when I play shuffle on my phone.
