NikNik
Nice Jazz. Nice price, too. John East circuit Custom Jazz
TheGreek
Nice bass but you'd have to remove all the stick on bits of metal.
prowla
A J with an MM neck... I think I'll stick to my J/Status/John East...
prowla
I wonder if it's a Slipknot fan?
prowla
There's this one going as well - more of a Status neck with 6 holes drilled and a questionable body included. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Status-Graphite-Bass-Guitar-Neck-and-unbranded-j-type-bass-guitar-body/284025046948
NikNik
Interesting. I do like that spalted top, though.
Bassassin
Can't help thinking the only reason the seller's left all that risible wannabe-goth tat nailed all over it, is that it looks worse with all the screwholes & finish dents they're covering. Nice neck.
NikNik
I liked the spalted bodies that Vantage did a few years ago. Never seen one on a Jazz. Not bothered about the neck.
Bassassin
Some nice bodies here, including a couple of spalted-looking Korina Js. Tempting prices, too.
NikNik
Poplar? That's a pretty light wood. And those caps are ultra-thin!
ash
Those screw on bits are awful, he makes a point of the red tint to the weave in the ad but I wasn’t aware of Status doing that, is it just a light reflection? Also anyone notice the odd machine head, what’s that all about then?

That red weave is a thing, and it's an expensive custom option. I have it on my Streamline 5 (along with LEDs and stuff) sitting next to me as I type this.
