Al Krow
Refreshing to see Sergeant Pepper's, as totally iconic and ground breaking as it was, knocked off the top spot for once. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/best-albums-of-all-time-1062063/ Any obvious omissions? alexa3020
Obviously these lists are subjective, and You can pick holes in them fairly easily. The hole I’ll pick is surely Electric ladyland is superior to are you experienced!

Hejira and Sign ‘o’ the Times ranked way too low. No New Boots & Panties. Back in Black vs. Powerage or Highway to Hell? No Tricky or Blue Nile? And as daft as these types of lists are it’s absurd to include compilation/best of albums - if you’re going down that route where are the Beatles’ blue and red albums? Apart from that it’s excellent!! (I’ll admit now that there’s every chance that all of the above are included and I’ve missed them!) ahpook
Absolute Frikkin' Tosh ! Linda Ronstadt's 'Heart Like a Wheel' is absolutely the 498th best album EVER. And there it is at #490. FFS How anyone can even think that it belongs anywhere else is smoking crack. I mean, seriously... Heathy
The only non-subjective way to do this must be sales based, surely? Although, I expect that there would need to be an algorithm to factor in how long the album has been available, LPs that were later resold as CDs etc.

Marvin
Obviously very US dominated, there are loads of bands/artists that I've not even heard of. That said, there are some awful errors. For example: I'm a fan of The Breeders and the list does include one of their albums, The Last Splash. Ok, it had the catchy Cannonball on it, however, as an album it's not as good as their debut album. Weirdisms
Barking Spiders
obviously too much time on their hands during full/partial/zero lockdown or whatever's been going on in the US of A

hiram.k.hackenbacker
The fact that Kanye West features on the 1 to 50 page should give everyone a clue how utterly pointless this is.
