Thinking of putting some different leds in my pedals just wondering are they 3mm leds I need thanks in advance

Depends what pedal it is.  You can measure them easily enough.  The measurement just refers to the diameter of the bulb part of the LED.  Just make sure you wire the positive and the negative ends the right way round.
