Owen
I have to power a bunch of Behringer GDI 21 pedals at work. Can anyone suggest as decent but not bank breaking PSU. I will need 10 of them so you can understand my lack of enthusiasm for the state of the art! If something existed which did what the Behringer does for £40ish but ran on phantom power I would be happy enough with that as well. But I cannot see anything out there. Thunderbird
The diago power supply should do it well but obviously needs daisy chaining don't know anything about phantom power though sorry
Baloney Balderdash
This: https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_powerplant_adapter_pack_1pro.htm + This: https://www.thomann.de/gb/palmer_mi_pwc_6.htm Will do it, and then you will even have plugs to feed 3 more pedals with power. This power supply should be powerful enough to quite easily handle 10 pedals (or 20 for that matter, at least as long as they are analog, as digital pedals typically will require considerably more power to run properly, still this power supply should be able to handle 10 of those easily), and from my experience daisy chaining very rarely cause issues, and if it does it is usually just 1 pedal being the issue, solved by giving that pedal it's own dedicated power supply, while leaving the rest daisy chained. Owen
Thanks both of you. As usual, the information I thought I was giving and the information I was actually giving were two different things. Sorry about that. What I need are 10 individual wall wart power supplies - like this but hopefully cheaper! https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/strymon-uk-power-supply?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtsv7BRCmARIsANu-CQfrythykXQRreGiSu1yzrsfRywz8P-xQg351KuUCZ7klNsjSIZBaEAaAsjUEALw_wcB

Buy one cheap power supply with as high rated amperes (A or mA probably, 1000mA or 1A should be fine for running 10 pedals) as possible and then 2 of the daisy chain cords from my second link. Go to Thomann's website as I linked to, I am sure they got an adapter that makes it possible to use the power supply I suggested, or that they got a cheap one with the plug you need, just find the "Power supplies" category and then chose "Price: low to high" from the drop down menu. Owen
The idea of running 5 off one supply is feasible but I am trying to set up rehearsal spaces for my students which will be socially distanced so the units will be spread across a lot of space and I would need to run really long extensions to make it work. I am aware that this is also fresh information!
paul_5
Would it be feasible to get a job lot of rechargeable 9v batteries? Social distancing wouldn’t be a problem.
dannybuoy
£10 from Andertons: https://www.andertons.co.uk/9v-psu-aps9v £9 from Amazon with free delivery + a daisy chain: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Supply-Adapter-Donner-Negative-Cables/dp/B07BS94G7F Otherwise there are tons on eBay for £3-£4 that are probably exactly the same! Ideally everythign just sits there waiting to be used. 48 minutes ago, dannybuoy said: £10 from Andertons: https://www.andertons.co.uk/9v-psu-aps9v £9 from Amazon with free delivery + a daisy chain: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Supply-Adapter-Donner-Negative-Cables/dp/B07BS94G7F Otherwise there are tons on eBay for £3-£4 that are probably exactly the same! It is the "tons on eBay for £3-£4 that are probably exactly the same!" which are the interesting ones. If someone says "yes, I have used this one and it is fine" then I would happily take a punt. dannybuoy
Looks like most of those would be coming from China though, so if ordering 10 in one go, you might get hit with import fees! I'f it were me I'd take a punt on these at £4.49, any issues and returns are easy via Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0768J31QJ
