The lead pieces attached to the back of the body are weights to enable the guitar to hang at the correct angle when Alan was standing and strapped.

Neck dive? Sorted.

I couldn't afford that price, and I'm not a big enough Quo fan to seriously go for that.......... however, if someone offered to buy me a bass and said you can have "whatever you want".....

i'm sorry too.

Chop it up into small pieces and make matchsticks, then arrange them into little stick men and take some photos.

Bonham's are auctioning Alan Lancaster's Fender Mustang in a couple of weeks if anyone's got £15-£20k burning a hole in their pocket.

It's the one he used through the 70s & then again for the Frantic Four tours.

His Travis Bean & Kramer are up for grabs as well.

If it's not good enough for Alan, it's not good enough for me.

Don't Stop. This thread is the Backbone of what BC is all about.

This thread is Thirsty Work. I'm off to Ma Kellys' Greasy Spoon for a drink. I promise I won't get Under The Influence.

Well I'm going to bid on the bass. I know some great Riffs I can play on it. It will also help me In Search Of The Fourth Chord.
