Aye, had one like that who nearly broke a good band up. We were a 7-piece funk band, two girl singers, and us guys made it a rule not to get involved with them, for obvious reasons. So what does the guitarist do? Pulls one of them (on the sly) and they begin a clandestine affair which eventually manifests itself as a schism between them and us. They take to arriving, late, together and leaving in silence. They also quit socialising with the rest of the band and eventually, after a few weeks as an item, split. Woodinblack
I left a band, followed by the drummer, 2 singers. Upon which the keys (the reason everyone left) said don't leave and left himself so everyone rejoined. He has since made noises about rejoining but it really isn't an option. 1
Paul S
I had a major hissy fit with a band once 😄 We were playing the birthday party of a friend of the singers. I asked if were could enjoy the buffet as well as the guests and was told categorically that we could. I get very grumpy when hungry, worth a mention. So we got set up and sound checked and I asked when we were going to eat as the gig kick-off time was rapidly approaching. Singer said I should have eaten before as the buffet was off limits. This led to some raised voices and finger pointing. As I recall I ended up threatening to throw the singer off the fire escape stairs 🤣 Always an idle threat because of the state of my back and the fact that he must have weighed 17 stone. Unsurprisingly that was our last gig. Of course it was never about the food, it was all the tensions that had been simmering over the past year or so due to the singer increasingly believing we were 'his' band. 1

KellyS
I left my first band (in my teenage days) because the drummer kept throwing his drumsticks at the back of my head, eventually catching me in the eye as I turned around to talk to him. I promptly threw my bass at him and packed up and left. It was a late 90’s unbranded P Bass and had apparently had a previous life as a boat anchor. Once he picked himself up off the floor (no real damage done) he quit, and so did I. Strangely we managed to “fill in” as a rhythm section for another six months until the band split up because they couldn’t find our replacements 😂 No more drumsticks were launched at my head after that though! 1
Bassfinger
Another good reason to steer clear of Feacesbook. PEONS can slag me off all they like and I won't care necause I'll never kmow.

A Ginger Baker tactic to get Jack Bruce's attention.

I once got a drum stick in the back. Tried to play one handed so I could give the stick back. Then another hit me. Then another. Then I turn around to see the drummer and the two sound guys are P!ssing about having a drum stick throwing fight and they were trying to drag me in to it. All because the drummer thought playing Sunshine of your Love was boring!
