Westfield EB3 modifications?

Hi guys,

I'm probably going to get my EB3 modified. I'm looking for general advice from Westfield, Epiphone, and Gibson EB-3(L) owners. Has anyone replaced there pots on a Westfield EB3 with two push pull pots, and then put a 4 way selector? I was thinking with two push pull pots and a 4 way selector, it would be possible to replicate the original Gibson Eb3 set up and sound on my Westfield? My idea is to use two push pull pots to control the volume and tone for each humbucker? So only using two pots instead of Gibson's 4.

Is this possible? How would it need to be wired?

not sure what the 4 way does in pu config but that should be quite a std...

EDIT: Found it https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_EB-3

Push pull pots, to tap the humbuckers to single coil?

You could go stacked pots for VT for each pickup... 2 pots in one hole...

The primary reason I came up with the idea is to replicate the original Gibson set-up but with less pots. That was my reason for asking to see if it is possible?

Rather than push-pull pots you could use dual concentric pots.  Two choices, each pot does Vol & tone for one pickup, or, one pot does vol - vol, the other does tone - tone.  Apols if I have misssed something.  What will you do with the spare holes?

I found this https://forum.gibson.com/topic/122705-my-sg-bass-master-volume-tone-awesomerizer-mod/ and did the mod to my SG bass.  An excellent bass has been made even more excellent.  Could be of interest?
