velvetkevorkian
I have far more of these spare than I need for... reasons? I assume they breed. 8 in total, 4x black, 4x grey, moulded on plugs, around 1.5m each. 1x black, 4x grey remaining Take as many as you need for the price of postage or socially distanced pickup from Glasgow G51. binky_bass
PM'd on a few of the black ones!
Shaggy
Our sound guy gets really upset if I call them kettle leads - they're Euro leads....... (apparently)
binky_bass
I believe they are actually called IEC leads... Specifically UK IEC leads. A Euro IEC lead would have a 2 prong end, so these wouldn't be Euro leads! Time to whip your sound man, I'd suggest 10 lashes. 1

TheGreek
Keep one spare - guaranteed you'll need one as soon as they're all gone.
velvetkevorkian
Haha, definitely. These are the spare spares, believe it or not. Like I said, I assume they breed in the attic.

binky_bass
If no one else wants any of these, I'm happy to take the rest of them to future proof myself against the need to ever buy any again!
velvetkevorkian
Sure, I'll look the spares out again this weekend and let you know

Stub Mandrel
A 'kettle' lead has a notch in the bottom of the connector, you'll see a matching oojit inside the socket on your kettle. Leads with this are suited for higher temperatures (e.g. kettles, heaters) but also fit the ordinary sockets. Betch didn't know that 🙂

velvetkevorkian
This was surprisingly educational. All now claimed, lock it up.
