It is exactly what I am looking for Is there anyone out there who would be prepared to pick it up on my behalf, pack it up and courier it? Or, indeed, start off a relay? Here's hoping... There is a totally fab Indian restaurant in Eastwalk Mrs S and I go to from time to time but that is about it. In fact last time was last week and construction of the new cinema complex had ground to a halt (for the second time). Not great timing! Quote

Last time I travelled on the M1 it was a nightmare, but that was my fault for going on a Friday. Are there any better times - Saturdays? Mid week? Quote

Expand Friday night is probably the only guaranteed no-no. Been doing a lot of miles recently, including two trips, Sussex to Luton. Len_derby Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Paul, if you do travel on a Saturday I recommend you factor a few extra minutes in for the final few miles in and out of Matlock. Especially if the weather is good. The A6 Derwent valley corridor is a main route in and out if the Peak District. Matlock Bath in particular can be a bottle-neck 1 Quote
