Vintage VJ74 Reissued - Pickguards

Fancied fitting a white pearloid PG to my VJ74 Re-ish, but since you cant buy  an original VJ74  item , not that i've found anyway, i'm wondering if yer bog standard Fender ones fit.   I guess this maybe a minefield because of  slight discrepancies,  and there are many JB's under  the Fender name.

It might only be answered by someone who has owned a VJ74 Re-ish and changed the pickguard

I can't speak for the VJ74, but I'd guess Fender compatible 'guards won't fit, based on the fact that my V4 Reissued needed a custom one cut for it.
