Delay pedal advice

I'm required to learn Another brick in the wall.  There is quite a bit of an echo effect during part 1, I'm guessing the pedal I need to produce this is a delay pedal?  If so, has anyone got any tips for a decent but not outrageously priced delay pedal?  I don't really know much about delay, reverb and the like.

Zoom B1-4 does pretty decent modulation and a lot else besides...

Can't really go wrong with this. Sounds good and built robustly. I don't use much delay any more but it's fun to mess around with.

If the delay effect is in time with the music and your using a human drummer you will need something with tap tempo.

Donner yellow fall delay is great and about 25 quid new maybe cheaper

If you're not bothered about tap tempo (it's a massive PITA to get right using it live anyway, and depending on the song you might not need it), an analog delay has the added benefit of making cool spaceship noises - here's the cheapo TC posted earlier:

I had an MXR Carbon Copy mounted sideways so I could roll the knobs with my foot and play it like an alien theremin!

Thanks for all the tips gentlemen.  I ended up buying a NuX Atlantic delay and reverb with tap tempo, only £85.  It works well enough for part 1 of Another brick in the wall.
