gelfin
I am looking to replace an aging Soundcraft LX724 ch. I am currently leaning toward the Soundcraft Si expression 32 channel. However I am open to suggestions for alternatives if anyone has experience. Presonus, Midas Budget is around 3k This will be for house of worship front of house. Providing foldback/monitors for band. video recording. As well as feeds to other rooms

EBS_freak
Stay away from the Soundcraft SI - it's pretty long in the tooth and continues to be a bit buggy. A&H SQ5 with DX168 (96khz) would be where my money is going. I don't know how much IO you'll need onstage but the 168 gives you 16 ins and 8 outs on stage. You'll have local IO on the desk for things like matrix mixes out for video and other rooms. If you already have (an) analogue snake(s) in place, you can make use of what you've got I guess too. Add extra digital boxes in the future if needs be.
TwoTimesBass
Yamaha TF series would be my recommendation at that price point. Lots of busses, good connectivity and part of the Yamaha family workflow that translates onto their bigger desks.
