Reading that, I think I learnt more about the seller's life history than I did about the bass itself!

Still, you've got to love the little details in the "Item Specifics" section: "Features: With Pickup." How generous of him!

A mate of mine bought the blue model when they first come out. Heavy as but a really nice bass indeed. He got into raving in the 90's and swapped it for a couple of record decks. We all do very silly things.

I sold one recently for nowhere near that amount around a grand in fact. It was a beauty but at 5kgs not for my back! The controls were volume active bass and treble, if you switched it to passive they reverted to volume and tone. Very effective circuit.
