synaesthesia Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) Long shot to sell: Stewart PR-500 reference grade power amp Similar to World Series 600, except has exquisite chrome faceplate. US voltage version. 1 U. Stewart don't make a 220 - 240 version and you can't rewire this one. Effectively the World 600 model with different faceplate, identical specs. Have had it a while, mainly for playing places with 110V when I travel. But have stopped doing that so.... Works with no problems with a step down tranny with reasonably high amperage or great power amp if you travel to or are moving to US/Japan etc bridged Mono 400W at 8 ohm Stereo 4 Ohms - 190 w per channel stereo 8 ohms, 110w per channel bridged mono 4 ohms 600 w class AB 4.5 kg balanced inputs, banana plugs, safety start see: http://www.proaudiosolutions.com/product-p/stewartpr500.htm & http://www.stewartaudio.com/world600.html It's a great studio/audiophile amp, which is why it has a different faceplate. Nice power amp, but either this or my Bryston has to go.... Edited August 16, 2007 by synaesthesia
